Truth

So, I realize why I haven’t been ‘BLOGGING’. It’s not because I’m not having any especially new or exciting epiphanies. I have lots of those. It’s that summer is a terrible fiend that sucks my motivation right out of me. Like, I barely go to group forums, it’s been days since I last posted on any RP, and I almost never go onto MSN. At first, I was letting summer win. It was totally winning. I wasn’t doin’ nothin’! But then, I put the gloves back on and started round two.
Today, I did a good job at work with a smile and a kick in my step attitude, I replied in all my RPs, and I’m posting in this blog at this very moment. All in all, I’m going to try and keep it this way. Summer shouldn’t be something that is hated. It should be something that is embraced. And that is exactly what I’m going to do.

So, I missed House. The season finale. That was a let down. Then I started downloading it, but it’s taking forever. I’m probably not going to see it tonight. No one yell out spoilers like I did to Dawn a few weeks ago. I just blurted it out. “OMG OMAR!” Poor Omar. For those of you who don’t know who Omar is, watch more House.

Poor Blog

Aww, my poor blog is dieing. Don’t fret. It’s not that I have been wounded or maimed by tigers whilst on the way to the goose farms, it’s that I have really found no sort of motivation to do so. I haven’t had any real new epiphanies, so I certainly can’t write about THEM. I’m still playing the same ol’ games, so I can’t write about that. And all that leaves it my boring life to write about. I have to live it, and I am then force to RELIVE it when talking about it? No way, Jose. No way.
So that’s why I didn’t do no updatin’ in the last… while. Three posts over about a month… that’s just sad for my poor blog.

Now… what is there to ‘BLOG’ about. Oh! Because I hadn’t been paying attention to MY blog, other’s blogs were forgotten as well, and I did not learn that Sarika was working at Extra Foods until I saw her name randomly on the Bakery Schedule. Don’t worry Sarika, June is nice. Well, nice to me. I probably think this because she’s not my boss. We say ‘Hi’ to each other. It’s pleasant.
My downloading frenzy hasn’t really stopped. I feel like the whole interweb is at my little finger tips now that I can download whatever I want. It’s nice. So far, I downloaded all 4 seasons of Corner Gas, season 3 of House, The Black Mages discography ((2 albums = a discography??)), Final Fantasy: Last Order, Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing… And so much more… I just can’t seem to stop.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is, by far, the worst game ever made. It is so bad to the point of comicality. It’s just so… ridiculously bad. I’ve got to show people who have not seen this game some time. Seriously. I’m literally smilin’ and laughin’ right now just thinking about it.

I XBox Elite, though. That’d be cool. Then I could get Phantasy Star: Universe and play that MMO. I like MMOs.

I love House.

[EDIT]: Ok, WTH? My post was way huger then this… and it made a bit more sense. “I XBox Elite”? What does that mean? Ack, WordPress is gay.

Tacticians

Right now, I’ve got three activities I’m-a working on. That is working at the Deli, listening to “The Dragon Reborn,” book 3 of the Wheel of Time series, and I’m playing Final Fantasy Tactics for the Playstation. Here’s a healthy update on all of those activities.

Work sucks. I’m no good at working at a deli, and, what’s worse, the stupid Union sucks up an unhealthy $15 from every one of my paychecks. I made 16 sandwiches the other day. 16!! When you make a sandwich for yourself, it a whole different mind set then when you make 16 of them. It’s like it on a whole different mental plane of existence. Then I have to skewer about a thousand chickens ((Literally not a hyperbole!))… and now, because the fat-cats up in head office think that us lowlings don’t deserve garbage, we have to find a supervisor to open up the trash shoot for us, because heaven forbid the deli gets a key. If anyone knows where I should work, please tell me.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.” Hurrah for the Wheel of Time! I’ve got basically all of the books, except for, perhaps, the newest one. I downloaded The Dragon Reborn audio book so that I can listen to it and do other things at the same time. Much more time efficient that actually reading it. All though it’s going to take a bizillion years ((Literally not a hyperbole!)) to read, instead of the usual 1/2 a bizillion years it takes me to read books on my own. It’s not that I’m a slow reader. I’m actually a pretty fast reader. It’s the fact that the act of reading is such a time-sink!
Final Fantasy Tactics is the absolute second best game of all time, behind Chrono Trigger, of course. As we all know, the story is the most important part of the game, and Tactics is easily a 12.5/10 (125% good!) on the Game-Story Scale. Seriously. If you haven’t played it, or haven’t played it in oh so very long, then you don’t even realize. So epic. Warring kingdoms, political strife, backstabbing, killing, murder, love, betrayal, demons, robots, Cloud from FFVII…. This game has it all! And a wicked Job system to boot. Seriously, this game kicks. Kicks. Butt.

Seriously.

Ailments

I don’t like being sick. I really really really really really REALLY really don’t like being sick. And now I’m sick. And I don’t like it. And there is nothing I can do about it beside complaining. Last night, I was playing a game I had downloaded, and I was extremely cold. Like, crazy cold. So I wrapped three blankets around me, making game playing not so easy, and I was still cold. So, as soon as I hit the next save point, I went to bed. My teeth were chattering all night. ;_;
I was talking with Joe about pity, I saying I liked it, he saying he didn’t. I think that pity is under rated.

So, I finished making my next year’s school schedule. It’s not set in stone or anything… I just had no idea what to take as an elective. So, I took Strategies for University Writings, and Creative Writing I and II. Anyone want to take those with me? Eh? I’m also taking Reading Across the Curriculum if anyone wants to take that with me. Anyone? ANYONE?
